PROGRAMMERS

We’re looking for programming students or recent graduates, interested in story based games for a 6 month paid work placement.

There will be a strong R&D aspect to the project. Coders will combine cutting edge technologies including Artificial intelligence to build a unique story based game.

Essential:

  • Honours Degree in Computing, engineering, Maths or science. Strong C++.
  • Examples of your work in (preferably in  C++) are essential.

Nice to have:

Python, AI, voice recognition, UI coding, Graphics coding, Scrum development.

DESIGNERS

We’re looking for game design students or recent graduates, interested in story based games for a 6 month paid work placement. They will be responsible for developing and bringing content into the engine. Setting up the flow of the user through the game.Designing and tweaking the user experience.

Essential:

  • Experience in developing story based games.
  • Writing clear and implementable game design specs.
  • Tweaking and balancing games.
  • Excellent and clear communication and documentation skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • The candidate must have examples of their work.

Nice to have:

Experience with Twine, Articy or similar story editing software. Experience in unity or unreal engine scripting.Scrum development.
